At Monistrol de Montserrat station, you have two options to reach the Montserrat Monastery: either by taking the Cremallera de Montserrat, a rack railway, or by the Aeri de Montserrat, a cable car. The Cremallera leaves directly from the train station, while the Aeri is a short walk away. Both offer scenic views during the ascent and are a unique part of the Montserrat experience.

The total journey time from Sitges to Montserrat, including transfers, is approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, depending on your connections and chosen mode of ascent to the monastery.
